Susan is a real estate investor, intrapreneur, adventure athlete, mother, and Investor Education Associate at Goodegg Investments.
Susan delights in creating educational and information resources for investors that help them connect their investment journey to living a more intentional life by design, which she knows go hand-in-hand.
She combines a strong technical background with a Masters degree in Engineering and engaging storytelling to help all investors understand complex topics in finance and personal development. This skill originates from over a decade of writing for outdoor adventure publications, guiding customers on backcountry tours, and teaching science in wild places. You’ll find her published work in scientific journals, on outdoor adventure bookshelves, across the internet, and here on the Goodegg Investments Blog.
Susan began her career in real estate investing by house-hacking her first home and starting a business in non-performing notes as a member of the Real Estate Accelerator Program. As she continued to identify her own life-by-design (training for endurance events, slowly traveling the world with her family, and spending more time outdoors), she knew she belonged in the world of investor education with Goodegg.
Susan has presented at multiple conferences, led monthly real estate investing meet-up gatherings, and even taken groups of students on multi-day adventure travel trips in places like China, Peru, and throughout the U.S.
