Dear Goodegg Community,
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”
The first time that we’d heard of the deeply transformative ancient Hawaiian practice called ho’oponopono (pronounced ho-oh-po-no-po-no) was at a Tony Robbins Date with Destiny event back in 2020.
We were in the height of the pandemic, schools were closed, investments had come to a standstill, and tensions were running high. Running and growing a business during that time was no easy feat.
That’s why, when we came across this stunningly simple yet powerful concept, we quickly picked it up and applied it to multiple areas of our lives. The rough translation of ho’oponopono means “to make right” or “to restore balance.” It’s a traditional practice of reconciliation, forgiveness, and cleansing.
While it originated as a way to heal interpersonal relationships within island communities, ho’oponopono is equally powerful as an internal reset. It’s a tool for clearing out emotional friction, letting go of past missteps, and releasing the mental clutter that keeps us from moving forward with clarity.
In our financial and personal lives, we often hold onto invisible weight—regret over a past deal, fear of market uncertainty, or self-imposed pressure to control every outcome. Practicing ho’oponopono is about clearing that slate. It reminds us that stewardship isn’t just about managing money; it’s about taking responsibility for our mindset, extending grace to ourselves and others, and returning to a state of gratitude and alignment.
When you clear out resentment and doubt, you create space for better decision-making, deeper connections, and genuine peace of mind.
So, we invite you to take a quiet breath with us and ask yourself: What mental or emotional clutter are you ready to clear out to make room for your next season of growth?
Sending sunny-side-up best wishes…
Have you ever wondered how it’s possible that a Hampton Inn in Seattle is roughly the same as one in Miami? Or why you can expect a similar experience at a Hilton in Dallas as one in Cairo?
At the core of it lies the standards for each hotel brand and the requirements for their property improvement plans (PIPs). In this article, we’ll walk through how PIPs work, what kind of renovations they cover, and what they mean for investors.
The Federal Reserve has raised interest rates for the first time in more than three years this month, in a show of its determination to attack stubborn inflation.
The central bank raised its benchmark interest rate by a quarter percentage point to a range between 3.75% and 4%. That makes it more costly to borrow money to buy a car, grow a business, or carry a balance on a credit card.
But what happens to stocks and bonds when the Fed raises rates?
